Family Resource Centre
Our services are created with families in mind, supporting you through the early years of raising children (from prenatal to age 5). Everything we offer is completely free, because we believe every family deserves access to support and community. Our centre is a welcoming, sensory-rich space where you and your child can play, explore, and learn together.

Maternal Visiting
Drop-in every Thursday morning from 10am -12pm for a visit/check up with maternal visiting registered nurses.

Sensory Play
Get ready to explore, create, and discover with our Sensory Play sessions! Designed for curious little hands, these fun, hands-on activities encourage creativity, sensory development, and fine motor skills through colourful, tactile experiences. Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers to learn while making a joyful mess!
My Book and Me
Join us for a 6-week creative program. Children and caregivers will create their own personalized storybook, exploring colours, animals, and imagination.
At the end, each child takes home their unique storybook — a perfect keepsake or Christmas gift!

We’re excited to welcome PA Autism Services to the centre! Representatives will be on the floor to chat, answer questions, and share information in a relaxed, informal setting.

Parkland Ambulance - Future Paramedic Day
🚑Calling all Future Paramedics!
Parkland Ambulance is coming to the Family Resource Centre on Saturday, November 22, from 9:30 AM – 12:30PM!
Families will get a behind-the-scenes look at what paramedics do, try on some gear, read fun stories about paramedics, and enjoy gifts, colouring sheets, crafts, and more. A fun, hands-on experience for the whole family!

ASQ Day

Curious about how your child is growing and developing? Join us for our Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) session with ECIP! This fun, play-based screening helps you learn more about your child’s strengths and developmental milestones in areas like communication, motor skills, and social interaction.
It’s an easy, engaging way to celebrate your child’s progress and catch any areas that might need a little extra support.

Baby Breakthroughs
We’re excited to bring you a refreshed Baby Breakthroughs program! Each session focuses on supporting your baby’s development through guest speakers, crafts, and connection. It’s also a great way to meet other parents and share in the joys (and challenges!) of early parenting.
