Early Years

Family Resource Centre

The services which we provide are designed specifically for families raising children in the early years (prenatal-age 5). Everything we offer to you is free of charge. Our physical space has been developed to be a sensory rich, inviting play experience for both you and your child to enjoy together.

Program Highlights for the month of May.

French for Tots

Drop in program to do a craft, read a story, and an introduction to French. This program is put on by apf (Association des Parents Fransaskois).

Baby and Me Yoga

Enjoying breathing, stretching, and bonding with your baby. A chance to relax and do some self care too. Wednesdays at 1:15. Registration is required.

Maternal Public Health

Drop-in every Thursday morning from 10am -12pm for a visit/check up with maternal visiting registered nurses.

Toddler Yoga

What to do after baby and me Yoga? Come try toddler yoga! Wednesdays at 11:30. It is lead by our amazing Laurie! Great for all ages. Register to save your spot or drop-in.

Crack the Code

Join us and the Prince Albert Literacy Network for the last Crack the Code till after summer. Thursday May 30th 5:00-6:30.

La Leche League

Join Katie to get any breastfeeding support or questions. Friday, May 3rd at 10:30am.

Wise Owl Story Time and more

Come join the Prince Albert Literacy Network for a fun morning. Story Sacks, Stories, and so much more! Wednesdays at 10:30am

Curiosity Hour

Join us for some science and sensory fun. This is a drop-in program for children aged 3-5 with their caregivers. May 2nd, 16th, and 23rd 4:30-6:00pm.

Baby Breakthroughs

A fun interactive play time between parent and babies 0-1 year. Parents will have the opportunity to meet others in our community. We will have songs,visiting professionals, infant massage, sensory activities and simple crafts for your little one, to aid them in reaching their developmental milestones.

Wiggle Time

Dance, giggle, and play to burn off some of that energy. Saturday May 25that 10:30

Baby Wearing Dance

Learn how to Latin Dance with you baby strapped on to you! Fun and fitness all rolled into one! Tuesday afternoons at 2:30 with Estelle! Register early to save your spot!

CRA Info evening

A Canada Revenue Agency outreach worker will join us to answer any questions and make sure you are getting all the benefits and credits you are entitled to. Thursday, May 9th at 5:00. Childcare offered.

Child Immunization Clinic

Book your appointment with Public Health if you child is due for their vaccination. Booked appointments will be held here Thursdays from 3:00pm-6:00pm.

Mother's Day

Come to the Family Resource Centre to get your Mother’s day pictures taken, make a card, and enjoy family play time! Saturday, May 11th 11:00-2:00pm
